How to burn ISO image on mac to a CD? Thanks to built in ‘Disk Utility’ application on OS X, it can burn disk images to optical media in a few easy steps.

So, to burn an ISO image to disc, here’s what to do:

  1. Insert a blank disc (just choose ignore if have any attention windows pop up).
  2. Start Disk Utility.
  3. From the File menu, choose Open Disk Image and select the ISO to be burned.
  4. In the list of volumes, you will now see an item representing the ISO file. Select it.
  5. Click the Burn button and follow the instructions.
  6. Sit back and wait while your new disc gets written.

That’s it!

It may seem simple enough and no need extra 3rd party application… ;-)
